Abstract

This paper investigates the problems of H∞ control for Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy neutral systems with both discrete and distributed time delays. Some new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals (LKFs) are constructed by non-uniformly dividing the whole delay interval into multiple segments and choosing dierent Lyapunov functionals to dierent segments in the LKFs. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and delay-decomposition approach, delay-dependent sucient conditions for the solvability of this problem are proposed in terms of LMIs. The purpose is to design state feedback fuzzy controllers such that the resulting closed-loop system is robustly stable with an H∞ performance level for the H∞ control problem. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the eectiveness of the proposed method.
