After signing the strategic partnership in 2013, the two sides continued to affirm their determination to actively contribute to building a strong and united ASEAN Community, promoting the central role and common voice of the Association in regional and international issues, and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). Vietnam and Singapore strive to effectively utilize the benefits brought by the new generation of do-it-yourself trade agreements, accessing the system support. Besides, Singapore also plays the role of a transshipment country for goods to a third country market. As a result, Vietnamese enterprises can seize opportunities to export product materials for processed foods in general and Halah foods in particular, looking for partners to promote the exploitation of the principle of origin, the synergistic principle of origin of the agreements signed above. Singapore needs to promote strong cooperation in food and food production with countries with strengths like Vietnam.
