Abstract
Floods can cause damage and loss of human life, significant economic costs and damage to the environment and cultural heritage. Serious floods have become more frequent in Europe and Bulgaria. In recent years are register more than twice time medium- to large-scale flash floods. In current paper is presented an analysis of the risk of floods in the Danube region of the Republic of Bulgaria.
